Changing your thoughts is simple. 🧠
Here's a step-by-step proven technique to help you do so. 🤩
In this episode of the Daring DVM Podcast, I teach you how to rewire your brain using a simple and effective coaching tool.
We're discussing the 3 C's of mind management, how to use neuroplasticity (thought work) to change your brain structure and, therefore, your thoughts, and the role of your nervous system in this process.
We'll use two common coaching examples, imposter syndrome and body image.
I love using these examples because while we logically know that, as veterinarians, we are qualified to do our jobs, at times, we still find it difficult to believe. And as women, we logically know that we have inherent self-worth, yet our inner-critic voice still makes us doubt ourselves and how we look.
Come learn how to retrain your brain, eliminate your critical thinking, and rewrite your inner narrative.
Yes, the voice in your head can totally be nice to you! You just have to teach your brain how to talk to you.
If you'd like help changing the way you think about yourself and are ready to take that next step, hop on my calendar for a free coaching consultation, or find out more at www.daringdvm.com.

Buckel up, everyone! Because I am speaking about a topic that I love to hate and hate to love!
Today, I’m sharing my unpopular yet oh-so-liberating opinion on toxic people and workplaces.
In this episode of Daring DVM, I’m sharing:
Why I do not think labeling someone or something as toxic is helpful
How, in many ways, it can actually prevent you from healing
What is happening in your nervous system, body, and brain to make you feel this way
WHY you feel as if the negative vibes are seeping into you and ruining your life
Six steps you can take to overcome any “toxic” work environment or relationship
And my exact process that I use when I interact with a “toxic” person
I suspect this episode may be controversial. It’s definitely unconventional.
Yet I truly believe this information will set you free. 💖

Dare to Dream

Dr. Amy Grimm is a veterinarian, certified life coach, anti-burnout advocate and founder of Daring DVM Coaching and host of the Daring DVM Podcast. She is on a mission to reshape mental health in the veterinary field by inspiring others and teaching them how to create a healthy mindset and become resilient AF.

She has served in industry, public health, research, private practice, and was a Medical Director of a companion animal hospital for several years, before making the leap into entrepreneurship and coaching.

It was through her own struggles with burnout and life-work balance that Dr. Amy discovered coaching and realized the profound positive effects in her own life. Her own transformation inspired her to become a coach herself, so that she could help others who are struggling, just like she once was.

Today she coaches busy, burned-out professionals and helps them transform their lives and fall in love with their careers again. She also still does the doctory things she loves by providing HVHQSN and surgical relief services. Dr. Amy and her fiancé live in Grass Valley, CA. They enjoy everything outdoorsy, including backpacking, bike-packing, peak-bagging, running ultras, and racing on their tandem mountain bike. They share their home with their derpy Catahoula-Aussie-mix, Jake, and elderly entitled Pug, Berkels.

"I love who you are, and even more than that, I love who you are becoming.

Dare to dream."
